Wadowice is a town in southern Poland, 50km from Kraków with 19,200 inhabitants, situated on the Skawa river in the eastern part of Silesian Plateau. Wadowice was the birthplace of Pope John Paul II.
There are number of fhings worth seeing in Wadowice, but we can recommend Museum of the Holy Father Family House in the native home of Pope John Paul II, the Virgin Mary's Offertory minor basilica, Municipal Museum and many more.
